Tankless Heater Coils Steam & Electric | Boiler Supplies

Additional Information

Tankless heater coils provide on-demand domestic hot water by utilizing heat from a boiler, eliminating the need for a separate storage tank. Installed directly inside the boiler, these finned copper coils act as heat exchangers—transferring heat from the boiler water to incoming cold water as it flows through the coil. 

 

Because water is heated only when needed, tankless coils eliminate standby heat loss and offer a compact, space-saving solution—especially useful in systems where a boiler is already operating for space heating. 

 

These coils are available as OEM and replacement units for a wide range of boiler manufacturers, making it easy to match existing bolt patterns, plate sizes, and performance requirements. Proper sizing is critical, as output depends on boiler temperature, coil surface area, and system demand.

 

Tankless heater coils are commonly used in both residential and light commercial boiler systems, particularly in colder climates. They are ideal for retrofit applications, allowing worn or scaled coils to be replaced without major system modifications.

 

Routine maintenance—such as descaling and inspection—is recommended to maintain heat transfer efficiency and prolong service life. When properly maintained, tankless coils provide a simple, durable, and reliable method of producing hot water directly from your boiler system.
